Stain resistant, I spilt tea on and it just sat on top of the mat (did not soak in) until I cleaned with kitchen paper, no staining. The colour (Pink) is as per the picture. Cons- it took forever to arrive and I can find nowhere in the description where it says this item is coming from China as turned out to be the case. Seller did not respond to chase up. Although it does puff up as stated over the course of a few days, it is not as thick as the description picture suggests. After I purchased it from here, I found it on another site for considerably less money.
