The handle is a shocking blue and shines nicely. With time this knife will last with proper care. It's comfortable in the hand and well balanced. I could cut for days if it allowed me to. It's smooth and sleak. It has a very slim profile so, it won't take up a lot of room. I might get another one just to hang on a wall. It's very nice. It also came in a really nice box ready to give as a gift. I wouldn't consider this a utility knife. It's just a chef knife, a knife to use on food or to put on display. For the money I was surprised that it was this nice.

This's a good knife. Damn sharp. Yes, sure, over a few months like all knives you'll need to sharpen it. I have a whetstone, 1000/3000 grain. This knife is full tang with rivets you'll see on the handle, meaning it's a full steel piece which won't snap or break in two years. Strongly recommend. And be careful, it's sharp! Love it.
