A: About 5 feet

**Q: Can you turn the beeping sound off and does it stay off after power off/on?**
A: There is only a very low beep when l turn the heater on. There's no beeping sound when turned off. The fan continues to run for 30 after turn off to blow out remaining heat.

This is my 2nd one I'm lazy one for downstairs and one for upstairs it is portable so u can move it room to room as I said I'm lazy 😆 it oscillates has different settings as well u can choose the temperature which btw goes upto 35° has a remote control and for its size will heat ur room up so ur cozy also works as a fan has a timer upto 12hrs I think the face plate doesn't stay hot once off so when moving it u won't burn urself theres a 30 sec cool down time then switches off it protects the heater so make sure u don't switch it of at the mains it will damage it this has saved me so much money its really cheap to run I had it on all day didn't make much of a dent in my pocket not needed to put my heating on once even when it snowed the one room i was in was cozy with the cost of living sad as it is this is the way to go highly recommended for the elderly

A truly brilliant heater... I live in a small bungalow with not many wall sockets so the only problem I have is with the length of the cord as you can't use an extension with the brilliant heater, surely it would be commercially viable for buyers to have a choice of cord length?.

Although the electric heater is small, it does give out heat. Heats up the room within 15 mins. room size 4 m x 4 m. I'm sure it can heat up a little larger space. I have given it 4 stars as I have not checked the cost of electricity vs using central heating, however I assume it will be cheaper as I'll be heating 1 room only not the house. The timer is for the duration to heat the place, not to set a time to start heating the room. Over all it is a good buy and would recommend. Works easy and comes with a 5 year manufacture warranty.
