Everywhere I've tried to use them there's some transformer, charger or other hum inducing thing nearby so these have been absolutely unusable For comparison, the cheapest round cable with a braided shield works fine in these same locations. I bought all 3 lengths and and haven't found a use for any one of them anywhere I might want to use them. Wasted money. **Q: How long exactly is the cable?** A: 1.5 foot cable is 18.5 inches of cable with 1.5 inch and 1 inch (90 degree end) long connectors. Connectors and shrouds are narrow/slim enough to fit inside the case cover of my phone. **Q: Is this cable compatible with projectors ?** A: It depends on the size of the jack on the projector. If the projector has an appropriately sized jack, then yes. **Q: If I plug this into my 6th generation ipod & the aux hole in a boombox...will I get sound?** A: Yes...I would assume so. Reason why I say assume because I don't have a ipod or a boombox. I use the cord for my Aux plug in my car to my cellphone...and I can pretty much play all types of music from there. Youtube, Pandora, Datpiff, Soundcloud, Amazon music...it all works for me...so it should work for you as long as you are plugging the cord into the AUX hole.
