The timer also has “recall”, so that it auto resets to the previous set time. This is handy when doing repetitive tasks. They include a magnet on the back of the timers. I have all stainless steel appliances, so I am not able to utilize that feature. However, they also provide a hanging loop. I put a twist tie through that and am hanging it on a cupboard handle next to the stove (see photo). Handy, yet out of the way! The numbers are big and easy to read and my son uses it on his own to set timers and stopwatches to do his homework. The alarm is loud enough to hear from far away. It has both the magnetic back and the stand that are convenient to put all over the place and I can put it on the fridge or counter. Both timers came working properly and simple to use.
