I see lots of 5 stars but I'm not that star struck and puzzled by y'all.I wanted a cheap clear case to protect my [very expensive] MacBook Pro from scratches so that I can keep looking for a case I really <3 AND that would offer better protection. I will probably keep my eyes open at my favorite stores so I can see what I am actually getting, and then keep this as the backup which I likely may never use and it will take up space in my closet.Pros:cost, clear, thin & light weight, easy install, rubber-y feet.It is very clear and barely noticeable. So I like that. I had no issues installing it after I took a few minutes to polish out the MacBook's finicky silver metal exterior. It simply snapped it on no problem. The bottom feet are non-slip on my lap desk (where I sometimes do work in an easy chair and keep the laptop on a tilt). My goal of stoping these annoying scratch marks on my silver MacBook has been satisfied... but.Cons:cheap plastic, protective?-TBD. I'm not 5-starry-eyed about it.This case is not super protective on the back hinge near vent or back corners. IF you drop your precious laptop on the corner, it's toast. Thin plastic is not going to stop the drop from damage- especially should you be so lucky to hit where the plastic stops. From photos on line, and on install it actually looks like it is designed for an earlier MacBook that has older ports- not sure, but I suppose the positive is that the case won't block the cable plugs from fully engaging in the ports. Case fits snuggly. No issues there. Plastic edges on the case are a little wonky (?). IDK how else to describe but the plastic on the edges looks warbled/scuffed in small places. Will anyone notice? Probably not. But it detracts slightly from a nice clean edge and crystal clear presentation. And is an indication of quality of the injection mold and likely flashing that was shaved off in manufacturing.Note: The case came with a keyboard dust cover. Lays on fairly well but doesn't cover my top row of keys (esc, F1-12, and on button). The letters are off center. Ironically, there is a drop of something on my cover. I'll use it after I clean it (geeze). For whatever it is worth. Until it annoys me and I will throw it out. Overall, don't spend $1 more if all you need is a case. Just buy the danged case and be done.Confusion: I ordered a "Twincase" cover. It came in a black box, labeled "Millimeter." What the what? If I got the wrong thing, then boo on this seller. Its just not worth my time or money trying to ship it back at this point.Case Install Tip: take off the plastic film on the inside of the case cover to start, snap on and then remove the top plastic protective layer. I was able to avoid touching the machine and the inside of the case. No prints. Happy.Overall feeling: I'll keep the case. It works for now... Hoping I didn't just waste $18 that I should have spent toward a high-end brand or Apple approved case... It even includes a keyboard protector for the touch bar keyboard (even though my computer doesn't have a touch bar, I'll still use it because it covers the other keys pretty well)It was delivered on time and it was accompanied with a note from the seller (guarantee contact information and a thank you note). I love that in the bottom part of the case, it has 4 rubber corners to aid the case to not slide so easily in different surfaces because it adheres. I was very impressed by how sleek and stylish this left my MacBook Pro. Others have complained that dust and other particles get into the case and make it look dirty, but I have never had any hard laptop case that didn’t have that problem.Fast forward to 2 months after my order, this laptop has not been dropped, or run into any corners. However, one side on the bottom has begun to crack. Not sure how this happened, since this laptop has not been used very frequently and has never run into any hard surfaces. I plan on reaching out to the seller for response since they particularly advertise against cracking (even with frequent usage).
