A: I'm generally true to size at a 7 and I can wear thin wool socks with these (1/4 inch thick). Normal thickness socks (like a bombas ~ 1/2") sometimes feels a little tight for me, but it still works.

A: No wedge. Very good foot support but otherwise flat.

**Q: Are these suitable for cold & snowy weather?**
A: They are waterproof and fairly warm; I have worn them during late winter/early spring in Chicago. They are short, so not appropriate for deep snowfall, but plenty warm if you pair them with some wool socks.

**Q: How do these boots look after they get wet?**
A: I thought the boots repelled water well.
