If you buy it in place of the standard width roller you will need to trim the width to use it with the Spaghetti, Linguine, Tagliolini, Fettuccine and Trenette rollers but that is trivial with a knife and a straight edge. You do need a lot more room in front of the mixer to handle the wider sheet but it is much quicker than trying deal with the narrower strips. This was a ‘Set Completion Purchase’ but now I’ve used it I would definitely buy one again. Not only for Lasagna sheets but also to take the pain out of rolling Roti's. The extra wide space allows for the perfect width. I simply make golf ball sized dough balls from the Roti dough and then roll them through this roller attachment, gradually increasing the thickness 1-5 (I prefer thinner but width 4 would also work for most) to take the pain out of all that rolling, when making Indian for dimner. They come out very nicely, too. It can also be used to make tortillas, puri's, naan bread, samosa cases, gol guppa, flat breads, etc. So many different applications can be considered because the roller width is larger than the standard size. The roller attachment has Excellent Build quality too, which will last for decades. My Best purchase this year in addition to my Kenwood Cooking Chef XL.
