Does it leave any colour?** A: Hi Renapur Suede & Fabric Protector can be used on white canvas shoes but please test on an inconspicuous area first before applying to the whole item. Make sure your items is free from dust, dirt or any cleaning residues. Spray your item evenly over the surface When finished it should be damp to the touch. Gently brush the protector into the material, we would recommend using a soft suede brush. Leave your item to dry for 24 hours, you will see you product return to its original colour as it drys. The product can be used on loafers as long as the finish is similar to suede or nubuck. We do not recommend using the product on 'finished' (smooth/pigmented) leather. Easy to apply and dries quickly. As I have only recently applied the protector, requires time for myself to see how effective the protector is and whether value for money, however I have bought Renapur leather products in the past and found them to be very good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product but made navy boots a little darker *by J***D on 2 August 2023* This works really well and as it doesn’t take much product per pair of shoes, it’s great value too. I used this on all brand new shoes and boots. I did a mass session with boots, sandals and shoes and I’ve worn all of them (thanks British summer) and they all look as new, though the sandals haven’t been tested much (thanks British summer, not only constant rain but really cold too). My new navy Boden Chelsea boots did go slightly darker, but they were a wishy washy on the fence blue and they actually look better for it. They’re now a proper navy. They are a very thin suede though compared to the other items I used this product on. Other colours, including black, light green, tan and red were fine. Spray them outside if you can. The fumes aren’t terrible, but it’s always better to avoid breathing in chemicals. But with the caveat of a slight darkening to some boots, ensure you are prepared for this. But it’s an excellent product and I will respray the boots before autumn, though I’m tempted to do it now, (thanks British summer, what happened to July?) Repurchased for my mum.
