Use it to play with a didgeridoo and crystal bowls. Like the rain sounding effects, and the uninterrupted rocking takes some time getting used to. Always wanted one of these when I heard one. The sealing treatment is more for the wood, and there are some pegs and thorns that back up with use. This is natural, and the way it was made. Get a spoon or a multitool and push them back in. I prefer a more primitive feel in musical instruments, and I enjoy letting it rain wherever I go.
