Review: Brilliant compact bit of kit - This AstroAI tyre inflator is fantastic, it does exactly what you need it to do, plug it into your cars 12v, turn on, attach the tyre connector (much easier to do than using a commercial tyre pump). It will then give you the tyre's current pressure. You then +/- adjust the the pressure as displayed on the easy to read LCD display and press start, within a minute or two the tyre is inflated to the required pressure and then automatically stops. Disconnect the tyre and replace the tyre cap. Job done. Beats standing in the rain trying to connect a garage tyre pressure gauge. It even has a built in LED light. All fo a very reasonable price. The only thing that could be improved is the way the 12v cable is stored but I'm not complaining.

This AstroAI tyre inflator is fantastic, it does exactly what you need it to do, plug it into your cars 12v, turn on, attach the tyre connector (much easier to do than using a commercial tyre pump). It will then give you the tyre's current pressure. You then +/- adjust the the pressure as displayed on the easy to read LCD display and press start, within a minute or two the tyre is inflated to the required pressure and then automatically stops. Disconnect the tyre and replace the tyre cap. Job done. Beats standing in the rain trying to connect a garage tyre pressure gauge. It even has a built in LED light. All fo a very reasonable price. The only thing that could be improved is the way the 12v cable is stored but I'm not complaining.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked straight out of the box

The instructions are easy to follow although the first instruction - replacing the fuse on the cigarette lighter - is only relevant if the fuse in your car is blown. And in any event, the actual fuse you would need and the instructions for replacing it will vary by car make/model - so baffled why this first instruction is included. I found I had to press the connector really hard into the cigarette lighter to make the box switch on. And, during the inflation phase, I had to reapply pressure when the box light went out. I'm wondering if the connector is slightly misshapen. Otherwise the unit worked as expected and is a whole lot more accurate and less work then the manual bicycle pump I had been using previously. At the risk of stating the obvious, if your tyre is over-inflated and you need to reduce the pressure, the unit does not do this. Just press something into the tyre valve to release pressure until you fall below the required pressure and use the pump to bring it back up to the desired amount.
