It is pleasant! It's so pretty too! And no smell. I hate those compact dryers at hotels. They are too hot and smell. This is not like them at all. I never bought a hair dryer this expensive before but when I bought it through the Consumer Reports I saved $24 than if I went to Amazon on my own. I was comparing it like that.
