Review: General review of several flavors, some I like and some I don't - I normally drink bottled water, but have never found one I could tolerate after it reached room temperature. The flavor changes and I don’t like the taste. I checked out various brands of flavored water only to find most were packed with sugar. Being diabetic, that’s not a good option. I came across this Sparkling Ice on a recommendation list and saw that it is sugar-free so decided to try it. The one being advertised was Lemon Lime so I got a 12 count case of that. It was just ok, much better cold but I could drink it after it had sat on my bedside table all night so I wasn’t wasting it. Kind of reminds me of slightly flat Sprite. After 10 bottles I was bored with Lemon Lime so gave the last two bottles to a friend. Then I went looking and found several other flavors. Now let me say, if you are looking for something that fizzes like 7 UP, keep looking,. This is carbonated, but just enough to earn the Sparkling in the name. I take each bottle and turn it up-side-down, then upright again several times to thoroughly mix it. Try that trick with soda and you likely will be wearing it upon opening that bottle. This carbonation is just enough to give it a crisp flavor and a little zip. I ordered several mixed packs to try different flavors. I like the orange and strawberry. I love the kiwi-strawberry, that’s my favorite so far. The mango-orange comes in at a close second. The black raspberry and cherry limeade did not pass my taste test so they were passed along to others. I ordered more kiwi-strawberry and if I can find the mango orange that isn’t part of a mixed pack, I’ll grab that too. It’s less expensive than soda and better for you too. I haven’t given up my soda or coffee, but have added several flavors of Sparkling ICE to my thirst quenching arsenal.
Review: This whole product line is exceptional and this flavor is in the top three of the most popular from my experience - I just wrote a more in depth review of these drinks under the flavor of Pomegranate/Blueberry, but I will briefly do it again. its flavored spring water with just a touch of carbonation, its not soda water. its spring water and then it has fruit mice flavors and no calories and it gets infused with some green tea extract and some B-complex. I am amazed that these drinks are sugar free but they are and they are really tasty. As a rule I like water or juice and do not buy into sugar free drinks, but I do buy these and drink them -- my favorite three flavors are in order. 1. Orange Mango, 2. Black raspberry, and 3. Kiwi strawberry. with two others I will drink now and then the lemon lime and the Pomegranate Blue berry. I have cases of each in my house. great to give to kids too. if you do not tell them, they will never guess its not full of sugar. all the flavor is gotten from the fruit essences and a smattering sucralose -- splenda and I a small amount. So if you are someone who does not like the sugar substitutes this one is still pretty good as it really is just enough to get rid of the unfufilling edge so many fruit flavored waters have. But if you believe Splenda is the Devil than this may not be for you. But I personally think that so long as someone is drinking plenty of water and green tea and being chill about other their coffee, their sugar, and other stuff. a little sucralose will not hurt you. further more this drink is largely endorsed by a number of healthy eating websites as a nice soda pop replacement but I think that its more like flavored water that does not sit in your tummy like a brick as many do. The one exception is that The black raspberry -- is almost like and old school soda pop but without the calories. but I looked and in general it even uses a very small amount of sucralose. the fancy formulation of this is "Splenda". and so long as you do not stumble on a site selling a book talking about the evils of all sugar substitutes -- here is a balanced report on surcralose and gain remember its not the main ingredient in the drink, it comes after the water and the fruits flavorings and eventually there is some sucralose. here is a link for you [...] Bottom line this is a great drink for when you want a nice flavored water that is not too sugary tasting or too diet like tasting. I would not drink tons of the stuff as a replacement for natural things but as a nice treat that one could drink several times a week, I think its fine. it is zero calorie and it has green tea and a nice vitamin B complex boost in it that you will not taste. So until Splenda is proven to be really bad like say aspartame, I think its fine. I am very picky about what I put in my body so I felt I should include this info here. but I have cases of the stuff for guests to drink alone or to add with tea and ice and the love it and I have had no ill effects. but I also drink a lot of other natural stuff or just good pure water.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why did the subscription suddenly end and the price sky rocket without warning for black raspberry**
A: 1. Amazon wasn't the company that upped the price.
2. A lot of the product was recalled (at least Cherry Limeade was), so when a product goes out of stock, private sellers jack up the prices. Not Amazon, and not Sparkling Ice, aka Talking Rain.
3. The price is showing back to normal for me at $10.99 for a 12 pack, which is better than store price at $1 per bottle (unless the store ends up with a sale or coupons).

Hope that helps.
Ps. I'm an avid fan of Sparkling Ice and always communicate with the company, especially after the recall happened. So, that's how I know.

**Q: The kiwi strawberry flavor I buy at stores is green but when I ordered online, it was red in color. Is there any reason for the difference?**
A: Hi there,
The cat is out of the bag, so to speak. We are moving away from artificial colors because we heard your feedback natural color is desired. The unique flavor remains the same, just the color has changed for Kiwi Strawberry and Lemon Lime. You will see all flavors with natural color by first of quarter 2019.

**Q: Why is every flavor a different price?**
A: Might be different vendors, but we've only bought the pineapple coconut, by subscription, and all of a sudden it's gone up 7 dollars. I really don't understand why that is. None of the other flavors seem to have increased in price.

**Q: why is fruit punch so much more in cost?**
A: Hi there,

Please allow me to explain the situation.

We're a third party seller selling on Amazon marketplace. For each product we sell we have to give commission for Amazon and then all the FBA Fees (includes shipping, fulfillment, storage). For this product we're paying $15 in total for Amazon (due to the weight)

Now, the rest of the flavors is available to buy from Amazon direct, Amazon's price on those is extremely cheap and impossible to compete with, obviously they don't have that $15 dollar fee etc.
And for this reason we're not selling the other flavors, because we would never bring in a product that the customer could buy it for cheaper from someone else.

It's not like we're expensive but more that they're very cheap.

However, for some reason Amazon doesn't carry the Fruit Punch flavor, it is not available in all areas, but some people love it more than the other flavors, so we've decided to list it and sell it for the cheapest possible we shouldn't loose on that. Of course if Amazon will start to carry it in the future, we will stop selling it immediately not to rip off customers.

I would encourage you to buy one of the other flavors that are similar to the fruit punch so you pay much less. However other customers still find this flavor good enough to pay this price.

Thanks for understanding and for reaching out.

Stay Well and Healthy!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Low-Calorie/Sugar-Free Alternative to Soda I’ve Found
*by S***. on 28 May 2026*

I have an aversion to most sugar-free sodas. I have literally gagged on diet drinks but obviously want alternatives that are healthier. Thankfully, I LOVE Sparkling Ice! None of the flavors I’ve tried are bad, but I pretty much just have kiwi strawberry, supplemented by the occasional very cherry. It actually tastes good without the sugar, has very few calories, quenches my thirst and is far more refreshing and healthier than my usual soda. My mom actually thought they were too fizzy but I tend to like a lot of fizz so they’re perfect for me. I’ve got them on subscription but usually have to order more. I need to just change my subscription quantity but they’re pretty heavy to handle a big pack. Totally worth it, though!
