The result of all this is that his fur is soft and shiny, he does not shed nearly as much as before, his poop is smaller and solid, he does not smell yeasty and he does not itch nearly as much. I kept the new container that came in after. STORE THIS IN THE FRIDGE. All problems solved! I've since ordered again, stored in the refrigerator, and my pups have had no issues. No black dots in the powder either. I have been ordering this for over two years now with great success. During this last container both of my boys have experienced vomiting. No changes to their food, treats etc. They have not been given this for over a week and have both stopped the vomiting. They are different sizes and breeds. Something has changed and while they say the black specs are normal in the powder, I say that's false. This container contained the most I've seen for two years worth of product.
