Maybe it's this flavor specifically, or maybe it's gone bad somehow although the date is still good, but it is just completely unpleasant. I've tried searching and while some sources say it could be the sucralose, I've never experienced this with any other brands that have roughly the same ingredients, so I don't think it's that for me. I generally find sucralose just fine and not too chemically tasting. I wish I could return it, but sadly you can't return food products, so I just wanted to warn anyone else thinking this might be good as a zero calorie coffee flavoring, it isn't.
