Review: Excellent Shop Lights With Bright Output and One Minor Mounting Weakness - I’ve installed several sets of these Barrina 4FT T5 LED shop lights, and they’ve been one of the best lighting upgrades I’ve made for utility and workspace areas. The 5000K daylight color temperature produces bright, clean light that works extremely well in garages, workshops, storage spaces, and crawl spaces where visibility is important. Compared to older fluorescent fixtures, the difference in brightness and overall appearance is significant. The fixtures themselves are lightweight, easy to wire together, and simple to expand into larger lighting layouts. I especially like how little heat they generate and how quickly they come on at full brightness without flickering. For the price, the lumen output is impressive, and they provide a very even spread of light across a work area. The included mounting hardware is really the only weak point. The clips feel somewhat flimsy, especially if the lights may be bumped or installed in areas with vibration. In my installations, I’ve had much better long-term results using standard 1-inch one-hole piping straps where possible, which creates a noticeably more secure mount. Even with that minor issue, the lights themselves have been excellent and are still an easy recommendation.
Review: Spiffy - I'm impressed with the amount and quality of light these produce. I gave them a double-take when I opened the package, but I plugged one in and it was bright enough that I wanted to install them. They are extremely light weight, you could wield one around like a toy light sabre, and are easy enough to install, just screw in a couple of clips, and snap the light into the clips, plug it in and you are on your way. I have a 12 x 24 storage building/work shop. I put two over the work bench, the remaining 6 spaced out through the building and is enough to well light the building. (see photo) The set comes with a nice variety of clips, connectors, screws, extension cords, etc, that should be more than enough for nearly any installation. I really don't know about the grounding other reviewers are talking about. There are two connectors included that is meant for hard-wiring into a junction box, or perhaps a self made wire hookup, which is the only connection that has a ground wire to it, however I don't know what you would ground this to anyway. The light assembly is mostly plastic, so I don't know what you would ground anything to in the first place. Each of the LED sections must have some type of minimum internal power supply which powers the LED's which by the way, are all sold state devices. That's it. What are you wanting to ground? I don't remember the last time I've even had a laptop that had a ground plug on the power pack, there's no point in it as far as I can see, not the mention these draw very little power, 22 watts each. Which brings me to my last point, connecting multiple units. Each of these are inter-connectible with each other and can be added to, and added to, for how many sections? Each section (per listed spec data) is 22 watts, if you add 10 sections, that's 220 watts which is about 2 amps of power. The first connection will be handling the load for the entire length of what you have added down the line. I wouldn't get too carried away with adding multiple units, as per the sellers images/description states you can connect all 8 of these together, and that seems very reasonable, but I would give some thought to connecting more than say 8 or 10 of these, and while it may work, it might be pushing the limit of what the wiring or the LED sections can safely handle, and that's never a good idea. (Edit: Update) Click on the 'see all customer images' and find the images and a 1 star review with burned connectors after adding 16 of these (16 x 22 watts = 352 watts or 3 amps) and you'll see what I'm talking about. Edit: I've added a photo to show these in real life. (no smirking at my messy workbench). This showing just how well these lit up my entire work space. Overall, I like 'em.

**Q: Is there anyway to get additional hard wire cables? I just ordered a 6 and 8 pack and noticed there were only 2 hardwire cables in each.**

Not a exact fit but easily modified by making a slightly deeper notch above the ground pin with a utility knife.
Cut the wires to length needed and hard wired into junction box.

**Q: How long are the hard wired connectors?**
A: 6 foot cords with on/off rocker switch wired inline.

**Q: The product info says "long lifespan" but doesn't say how many hours of use they are rated for?  What's the expected lifespan?**
A: I’m at 3 years and they’re still working great. 

Generally, LEDs never go bad; the diodes that produce the light keep chugging along.  What does go bad are the circuit boards the lights are on - and sometimes it’s quite a rapid decay. The particular brand has been the only one I’ve personally had success with over a long period of time, and with heavy usage. 

Also, directions aside, one can put way more than six of these together regardless of what the directions say (one time I bought these and whomever was selling them made this statement). Have various segments of 12 sets on their own breaker box switches with zero issues

This brand and design seem solid. I highly recommend them.

**Q: Why does the 8 pack only come with 4 power cords?**
A: The lights daisy chain and butt together to form an 6 or 12 foot strip, you also get a couple of pigtails to hard wire. The 54 inch spacer wires give good separation to light a work area. For my application they work great.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ Bright, Affordable, and Easy to Install — Great Garage Lighting Upgrade!

I bought this 12‑pack of 4‑foot LED lights to brighten up my 20’ x 20’ garage, and they’ve been a fantastic upgrade. The kit includes several connection options, which makes it easy to tailor the setup to your space. I went with the short pigtail connectors to link the lights together, and they worked perfectly for my layout. I wired three ceiling receptacles to feed three rows of four lights each (about 16 feet per row). To keep everything looking clean and organized, I added white pigtail plugs (Also purchased on Amazon) I purchased separately, and they really helped tidy up the installation. Mounting the lights was straightforward. Each fixture snaps into small metal clips that slide along a full‑length track, so positioning them exactly where you want is simple. Once installed, the lights fired right up and have been performing great so far. They put out plenty of brightness, easily illuminating the entire garage. Only time will tell how long they last, but given the design, replacing a single unit should be quick if one ever fails. For under $100 to fully light a two‑car garage, this setup is an excellent value. I’m very happy with the results and highly recommend these lights to anyone looking for an affordable, effective lighting solution.
