A: We love it, handle is durable.  We use the knife almost everyday and walk it everyday.  Knife Is very sharp.

**Q: Do I need to be sharpened before using this pairing knife?**
A: I don't know if you need to be sharpened before using the knife, but the knife will benefit anytime it is sharpened.

**Q: Is the handle comfortable for large hands?**
A: Yes. My hands are small and find the knife very comfortable to use.  I believe large hands will find it even more comfortable as the handle has an adequate girth. It’s reasonably sharp as well and I am able to cut my fruits perfectly.

Finally, a paring knife that isn’t dull out of the box. This thing is sharp enough that it immediately makes you feel like you know what you’re doing in the kitchen. It feels solid, cuts clean, and handles small prep really well. I went from fighting tomatoes to slicing like a top-class chef (at least in my head). If you’re tired of “new” knives that feel like butter spreaders, this one actually delivers. Sharp, comfortable, and does exactly what it should.
