I think it is the rubber lining at the bottom of the switches i think that makes it so. Minor drawbacks I know a lot of people enjoy slamming the keycaps and bottoming out, because of the rubber lining, you don't quite get that feeling with these, it's almost like rubber dome when you bottom out, so you might hate that. Out of the box, these are a bit scratchy feeling (which I like), and, I hear that these have about a week or so break in period. But, if you have the ability to lube them, do it, I think that would make em feel even better.
