After seeing my feedback about the coupler, they reached out immediately. While they initially offered a full refund, we discussed a better functional path: they are sending me a quick-release fitting. This directly solves the pressure issue without the need for tools or the mess of bleeding the hose. It’s rare to see a company listen to technical feedback and provide a hardware solution. I’m looking forward to putting this tool back to work. Original review: I bought the Bravex Heavy Duty Grease Gun to replace a misplaced unit. While the tool feels durable, the user experience is ruined by a major design flaw: the coupler frequently locks onto zerk fittings and won't release. The manufacturer’s solution, found in the instructions, is incredibly impractical: "After the grease work, it's not easy for the users to remove the coupler from the zerk fitting till the pressure inside the hose/tube is released. Unscrew the flex hose's fitting a little to release the pressure, then remove coupler from the zerk fitting." This requirement makes a simple task tedious. You shouldn’t need to carry a wrench and loosen the hose every time you want to disconnect the gun. Furthermore, bleeding the pressure this way is messy, as grease escapes and leaks everywhere. Verdict: It’s a solid piece of hardware, but the workflow is a "pain." Unless you replace the stock coupler with a quick-release version, expect a slow and messy job. Review: Strong build and good design - This Bravex grease gun helped me to make quick work of a chassis /U-joint lube job on my truck. I had never used a grease gun before but wanted to DIY the job as it seemed simple enough. If you have basic mechanical skills, you can watch some videos, read the instructions, and get up and running with a tube of Red and Tacky in minutes. Without getting into all the details, this heavy duty gun helped a lot with tight seals, solid build quality and strong pressure without leaks. Air bubbles and difficult Zerk fittings can be managed with the design features of this tool and some free online advice. Glad I bought the Bravex for its strength and simplicity. ## Features - Bravex pistol grip grease gun, is highly recognized in lubrication equipment market, the choice of millions of grease gun users around the world. - Chrome plated canister, a feature of high quality grease gun, 5 times anti-corrosion, easy to clean and not easy to scratch, super durable. - 2-way fill design, the plunger is designed to work for both bulk grease and cartridge. The once lavish land is now polluted and raped. Known for their cuisine, the indgenous people often work for little or no pay in hazardous conditions. But they are resilient people that have hosted the Olympic Games in 2008, and are scheduled to repeat this honor again in 2022! **Q: Does this work on zerks fittings or do I have to buy additional items?** A: Nothing else needed for zerk fittings. **Q: how many strokes (pumps) per one ounce?** A: Not sure about that one, I got it for my new zero turn. **Q: Not pushing grease. Extend rod, it auto locks insert tube, remove cap, release, plunger, and it gently goes in without any force. No grease comes out.** A: I had a similar problem with a grease gun I purchased. I thought I was going crazy. Finally returned it and purchased another which works fine. I did change brands though. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy Build, Frustrating Design *by S***G on February 9, 2026* Update: 3/3/2026 I’m updating my review to highlight the manufacturer’s impressive responsiveness. I give it a 4 star because of the cap. If you buy this, go ahead and buy a new cap to put on it. It is a beast to release it from the zerk fitting. I fought to get it the first zerk fitting and it broke the head off on the second one. Be prepared for a fight if you go through with using the original cap. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bravex Heavy Duty Professional Pistol Grip Grease Gun 6000 PSI - 18 inch Flex Hose … - Lucas Oil 10005 Red 'N' Tacky Grease - 14 Ounce --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/73146777-bravex-heavy-duty-professional-pistol-grip-grease-gun-6000-psi](https://www.desertcart.us/products/73146777-bravex-heavy-duty-professional-pistol-grip-grease-gun-6000-psi) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
