Not completely, though. It’s very pungent. But, by the end of the week, I was used to it. I felt it was a small price to pay to be bite and itch-free. Remember: when you go into the water, you MUST reapply when you come out since it will wash off! My husband didn’t, and he came home with about 5 bites. I reapplied every few hours to make sure I was well protected. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
