It does slightly moisturize, but I'm not expecting my soap to moisturize like body lotion. No irritation as long as I rinse well (same for any body wash).Pump works well, nice large sized bottle this will last a while.The scent is definitely NOT ROSE, or peony scented. But it is a nice floral type scent, with slight fruity undertones.
