Review: SERIIOUS, HANDSOME AFRO-AMERICAN KEN IS A WINNER - Our Fashionista (#235) arrived yesterday. He is handsome, serious and has moulded hair in corn-rows. He wears a stretchy cotton jumpsuit with an elasticated waist for ease of dressing. He also has lime green slides. His legs move back and forth but his arms also move in and out. We have named him John after singer/songwriter John Legend. Our John is also a singer and composer and is a pillar of our Barbie-verse community. He lives with his wife (Barbie Fashionista #182) who he met when he was a judge on a talent show and she was a singer. They have two children, 'tweenager' Skipper dog-sitter (HKD77) and their lively little boy (Chelsea Club HNY58) - available on desertcart at very good prices. John's family are known to help those in their community who are in need and throw wonderful BBQs for their neighbours. They may even become ambassadors for UNICEF. In our Barbie-world his (and her) storylines will be about two talented people who grew grew up with little but who are now channelling their success and using their fame to help others by being a force for good in the world.
