desertcart.com: Lunix LX7 FSA Hand and Wrist Massager, Heated, Touchscreen | Temporary relief of minor muscle aches and hand fatigue from typing, gripping, gardening, or hands-on work : Health & Household

Review: Great when it works/ Update below - I rarely write reviews, but felt the need to do so with this item. The unit is amazing & easy to use, but the battery life is awful!! I get about 4, 15 minute sessions, medium pressure, no heat, before the battery is drained. Battery also goes dead when not in use for a week more. None of this would be an issue if it didn't take a minimum of 12 hours to charge. I am not exaggerating. I have tried various other charge cables & outlets...nothing changes. Very frustrating!! UPDATE: Immediatley after the above review was posted, the company contacted me and have been working overtime to make things right. Evidently, the battery in my unit is faulty. They are sending me a new unit. Like I said above, the massager feels amazing & is easy to use. I've also noticed some improvement from the pain/numbness in my hands with regular use. It's very rare nowadays to get good product support & customer service. You certainly can't go wrong with this product because if there is an issue, Lunix USA will bend over backwards to make things right. Thank you Lunix!!!!
Review: Calming comfort massage - Best thing I bought. Really helps my hands. Soothing comfort

## Features

- Gentle Air-Compression Massage You Control: This hand massager uses rhythmic air-compression and kneading cycles — airbags inflate and deflate around the palm, fingers, and wrist, not mechanical rollers. Six intensity levels let you fine-tune the squeeze. Start at level 1 (the lowest intensity) and increase gradually; the pressure builds, so ease in. Press the power button on the screen any time to end a cycle and release the cuff in seconds.
- A Routine, Not a One-Time Fix: Everyday hand and wrist tension from typing, gripping, gardening, or hands-on work calls for consistent use, not a single squeeze. Our pressure-point therapy uses rhythmic air compression and acupressure that temporarily increases circulation in the treated area and helps relax hand muscles after repetitive activities. Most owners build it into a daily or every-other-day rhythm.
- Patented LCD Touchscreen: Experience the first-to-market hand massager featuring our Patented Touchscreen Interface for effortless, one-touch control. Choose instantly between 3 massage modes, 6 intensity levels, 2 vibration modes, heat, and a timer to tune your comfort routine to your hand's specific sensitivity. The screen shows battery, time remaining, and active mode at a glance, so you can adjust settings without guesswork.
- Soothing Heat & Before-Bed Comfort: Enjoy gentle, controlled warmth up to 109°F plus targeted acupressure inside a soft, cloth lining built for long-term use. The warming is designed to relax muscles and ease everyday hand tension, not to deliver high surface heat. Many users make it part of a before-bed routine to help calm tight, aching hands — ideal after long hours of work, chores, or typing.
- Honest Battery & USB Charging: A full charge powers about three to four 15-minute sessions at medium intensity (fewer with heat on, which uses more power). The LX7 charges over USB and runs cord-free, so you can use it at your desk, on a plane, or on the couch. For frequent daily relief, many owners simply keep it plugged in to charge between sessions. A built-in auto-off ends each session for you.
- Built For Real Hands & Daily Use: The cuff is shaped for standard adult hands and wraps the palm, fingers, and wrist together for full coverage in one session. Users with very large hands may find the fit snug, and the opening does not include a side-thumb cutout. For most hands, the conforming cloth interior makes daily, repeat use comfortable.
- Gift-Ready Set, US Support & Lifetime Warranty: The LX7 arrives in premium packaging with a hand warmer, finger massager, storage bag, and USB charging cable and plug, a complete, ready-to-gift set for the people you care about. It is an FSA/HSA eligible purchase, backed by US-based customer support and a Lifetime Warranty. Owners note that when an issue comes up, our team ships a replacement quickly.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it actually massage, or just squeeze?**
A: It is a kneading air-compression massager, not a roller and not a deep-pressure device. Airbags gently inflate and release across your hand and fingers in rhythmic patterns. Some people describe it as a firm, rhythmic squeeze.

**Q: How is the battery and charging?**
A: A full charge powers about three to four 15-minute sessions. It is USB rechargeable and you can keep it plugged in during use. Use a standard 5V/1A or 5V/2A USB adapter only, and note it will not turn on while charging.

**Q: How hot does the heat get?**
A: The warmth is gentle and controlled, up to 109°F, meant for hand fatigue and a before-bed wind-down rather than high surface heat.

**Q: Will it fit my hand?**
A: It is sized for standard adult hands, with no separate side-thumb opening; review the size diagram before ordering.

**Q: Does it help with everyday hand and wrist muscle aches?**
A: Many owners use it for exactly that: gentle air-compression and light acupressure for temporary relief of minor muscle aches, temporarily increasing circulation in the treated area after a long day of typing, gripping, or hands-on work.

Best thing I bought. Really helps my hands. Soothing comfort

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective Massage, Terrible Battery Life
*by A***R on October 29, 2024*

My left hand won't close. The fingers curl enough to type and no further. Doctors don't have a reason yet, but my rheumatologist suggested getting a massager. I settled on this one after reading various reviews, though the runner up is much less expensive. Pro: Good strong massage. I started on the lowest level, which was soothing, and each daily session notched it up. I stopped at level 3, not even halfway up in strength, as that's plenty of pressure. The heat is not as hot as I can handle (I effectively shower in lava, per my husband), but does a nice job of soothing and relaxing. After a few days of use, my hand seems less stiff and has improved range of motion as best I can tell without measuring, though it's still nowhere near touching fingertips to palm. I have only tried the full hand massage as I like getting my wrist massaged as part of the session. It's very lightweight, easy to haul back and forth from desk to charger, but has a firm grip on my desktop and will not slide during use (at least for now -- rubbery feet can lose grip over time). The controls are easy to understand after a short viewing of the online manual (the manual that comes with it just gives a URL to the current manual, along with a Quick Start Guide). The timer is easy to read at a glance, so I can prop my tablet in front of me to read a book while my hand is massaged and quickly note how much time is left in the session. Neutral: It does leave deep "dots" in my skin as seen in many review photos. They're gone within minutes, and don't itch. The charging port is down under the curve on one side, making it awkward to insert and remove the cable. I think I'm pulling on the cord more than on the plug. The manual says to keep it on a firm flat surface. The only one of those I have at resting arm height is my computer desk, but I have not got a place to plug the massager in there, so I have to carry it back and forth each night and morning. As to fit, I have small slender hands. 6.5" from base of palm to tip of middle finger. The lump to put my palm on inside the massager is a tiny bit too close to the far end, so my fingertips stick out into the slot at that end instead of being held by the fabric area or the bump fits a bit too far forward under my hand. Once the massager starts up, I can't shift my hand around to get off a spiky bump pushing into the side of my thumb, so I have to be very careful on placement before hitting start. Con: The battery life *sucks*. It takes 7 hours to charge (the manual says this and it did take at least 7 hours for the initial charge). One 15 minute session with heat drains over a third of the battery. The manual repeatedly stresses to use only the correct charger (5V 2A, not that I have any idea how to find out if my other chargers and cables match that), and never to leave it unattended while charging. I may be at home a lot but I'm not babysitting this thing for hours. The manual also says to always use common sense, which to me means just put it on a solid surface with lots of circulation and spot check it when I happen to be near the bathroom where I have a plug for charging this thing. Because of the battery life, I have to carry the massager from office to main bathroom each night, plug it in during my shower the next day, and once it's charged, carry it back to the desk. I can deal with this for my hand health but long term it's going to be tedious.
