It has two terminals at the back that you can clip wires onto or solder them on, if you reverse the wires the motor turns the other way. Grind two opposite flats on the motor shaft about .025" deep and drill a hole in the plastic gear about 015" undersize for a press fit on the motor shaft. **Q: Will it work with only a 6v dc input?** A: Yes. I used a variable voltage dc power supply to change the rpms up or down.
