It worked out great! They loved it. Would highly recommend! It comes with a hook and a string so you can hang it from somewhere so it’s easier to hit it, almost like a piñata. Have a friend open it in case it cracked during delivery (saw online to someone else but didn’t happen to us). Ours had a blue tag which we removed before gifting the boy baseball in case it meant to reveal the color inside the ball.
