A: Yes it does close. But my mask broke. The valve under the chin failed and water started coming in. I returned it.

**Q: Is a gopro the only attachable camera? i have an insta360 x2 i would like to use instead.**
A: Gopro attachment comes with purchase. Other mounted cameras? Do not know that answer.

フルフェイスタイプのシュノーケルマスクはこれが初めてなので、他製品との比較はできません。ライフジャケット着用で基本は水面をぷかぷか、たまに1mくらい潜る程度の使い方をしている自分の感想になります。このマスク、仲間内で「これカッコいいじゃん！」と話題になったものの値段は高く日本からのレビューもなかったので思い切って人柱になることにしました。まず装着感について。フルフェイスなので、普通のマスクよりも顔全体への締め付け感はあります。最初はフィットする位置がなかなか決まらず、ちょっと違和感が……（例えるなら、頭にハンガーをはめたときに首が勝手に動くアレに近い）でも、いざ海に入ると視界は広くマスク内に海水が入ってきません。少し潜ってみましたが、水の侵入を防ぐ機構がしっかり作動していて、水が入ってくることは一切なし。ただし、この防水機構が作動中は「吸う」動作が完全にできなくなります。口を開けたところに手のひらをピタッと当てられてるような感覚です。※吐くことはできます。また、潜ると顔面にかかる圧は結構なもので、2〜3メートル潜ると目玉飛び出そうな勢い。よく潜る人にはあまり向いていないと思いました。構造上、パイプが後ろ向きについているため、マスクをつけたままあおむけに浮かぶと呼吸ができなくなります。そのほかマスク内に海水を入れても、顔を海面に出すだけで顎下から自動で排水されるのは便利！また、水中・水上どちらでもマスク内に息を吹き込むことで排水が可能でした。わざと水を入れるまでは海水のしょっぱさを1回も感じず、鼻呼吸もできるし感動ものでした。デメリットとしては、通常のシュノーケルマスクに比べて着脱がやや手間なこと。ただ、これは慣れで解消できそうです。あと全体的にサイズが大きく、ALLプラスチック製なので雑に扱うと壊れそう。特に海外レビューでは顎下が割れたという報告もあったので、丁寧に扱った方が良いと思います。「パイプが外れにくい」という他レビューも見ましたが、接続部の爪を押しながら引っ張れば問題なく外れました。使用を重ねるうちにスムーズになると思いますし、水につけると外しやすくなるという公式動画での説明もありました。値段は張りましたが、自分が求めていた性能をしっかり満たしてくれたので大満足です！もし使っていて早々に壊れたら、また追記します！
