Why is brown rice the second ingredient?** A: I don't know why it has brown rice in it, but I give my ferrets a mixture of four different foods (two of them the high-end expensive stuff), small handfuls of each. They're healthy and playful. If I thought for a second any food was messing with them, I'd discontinue it.
