Works great for normal use at home. **Q: Does it say where this spreader is made?** A: The spreader is made in California. **Q: would it work well for powdered lime?** A: I have been using the Scott's classic drop spreader for 6 years and it works great for powered lime on setting #14 **Q: Will this work for snow salt too?** A: It should but salt would probably have to be applied before it snows. It might be difficult to roll in more than a small covering of snow.
