I had to know what happened next so I purchased all of the mangas and started reading them from the beginning to see what was changed between the two and where things went from the end of season 1 of the anime. Without a doubt, Phos has become my favourite character in all of anime. Without giving away any spoilers, Land of the Lustrous to me has one core theme in everything it does- change. Change whether good or bad affects us. I related to them so much on such a deep level as I was going through the loss of my father when I started reading these.
