How did it work?** A: Yes, I have tried this before a spartan beast approx 12 miles in the middle of July taking about 4 hrs to complete. It worked well. I would suggest depending on the miles you are running, a gel pack during your run I utilize this product before, during, and post workouts I would strongly recommend this product for anyone who needs a quick absorbing carb. **Q: Is this product vegan?** A: Yes! I called the company and they said it has properties of potato, rice, and corn. The larger size, I think is the better value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by N***E on November 15, 2018* I've gone through a 2.2lb tub of neutral to make sure it didn't tear me up somehow, and I just reordered it in 4.4lb. I like the neutral because I can mix it with my EAA Max watermelon for intra and it doesn't affect the taste at all. I sometimes will mix a partial scoop in with my coffee or a protein shake. Blends perfectly in anything I've tried so far and hasn't changed the taste of anything. One reason I'm sold on Karbolyn is as others have said, I don't get any bloat or upset stomach, and more importantly I don't get the insulin spike or hardcore crash after a workout. I take a stim pre-workout and I would hit the 230-3pm wall, and hard. I don't notice that anymore. I also have steady energy during an intense workout and notice I recover faster. I've taken EAAs and BCAAs for a while, but I can tell the carbs are delivering the nutrients to my muscles more because as soon as I started taking this, my recovery time decreased.
