I tried, even though I knew it wasn't sturdy enough, and it bent in half. Get a Primos Trigger stick, or similar if you need a walking stick as well. **Q: Can a crossbow be used with this stick?** A: Don’t see why not **Q: can you unscrew the mount on the top of the stick? Or is it permanently fastened?** A: Yes, you can unscrew the "V" yoke. After removal a screw is exposed that you can mount a camera or spotting scope on. Hope that helps! **Q: Where is it made?** A: Doesn't say, as far as I can see, on the item. The Allen Company website might say, I think it's a USA based company. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 信頼できます *by on Reviewed in Japan December 19, 2025* 想定よりしっかりとした作り。重量も軽く、ザックにも納めやすい大きさです。注文から到着まで荷物のフェイズが進む度に連絡を頂き、19日間安心して待てました。丁寧なご対応ありがとうございました。 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 安定しています *by on Reviewed in Japan December 6, 2024* しっかり固定できて安定して使用できます ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Light weight and serves its purpose *by on Reviewed in the United States November 26, 2025* It is a really good product with a quick and easy way to extend the pole. I have had it on three different hiking trips. It is a very sturdy monopod for shooting and even hiking. I would caution anyone from extending it all the way. The bottom extension bent and broke on me as I crossing a river on a fallen down tree. Yes, I probably put too much pressure on the part as I was crossing. Just be careful when fully extended to not put too much weight on it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Allen Company Monopod Shooting Stick and Gun Rest - Versatile Hunting Accessories with Adjustable Height - Aluminium,Black - AMERISTEP Hunting Foldable Design Portable Lightweight High-Back Blind Chair with Backrest, Mossy Oak Break-up Country - HUNTSEN Hunting Blind 270/360 Degree See Through Ground Blind - 2-3 & 3-4 Person Pop Up Deer Blind for Hunting with Carrying Bag - 300D Reinforced Portable Durable Blind for Turkey and Deer --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/724837668-allen-company-shooting-stick-for-gun-camera-extends-to-61](https://www.desertcart.us/products/724837668-allen-company-shooting-stick-for-gun-camera-extends-to-61) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
