I'm careful not to let heating element stick out past diameterof pot .. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Adequate *by A***R on 5 June 2026* Worked fine for a while, but after about 3 months the thermometer ceased working correctly. At a full boil, it will read about 230 F which is obviously impossible. Also, if you need to remove the lid while the kettle is hot you have to use a rag or similar because of the lid design.
