**Q: Harmful to honeybees?  asked by a beekeeper**
A: According to this article from a scientific journal, they have minimal effect on the adult bees, and if the odd adult bee does get infected at a nectar source and bring it back to the hive, the infection does not readily spread to the brood in the hive. A: I am not familiar with the ortho dial sprayer you described, but I would not use a "forceful" spray setting as it might damage the nematodes as they impact the soil. I would use a fairly gentle setting and overspray a few times.
