Review: Dont think about it. Get it! - This Zomagas ice maker cranks out the ice. We've used it for a 6 month summer (2025) in Michigan at our marina. It's hidden away in a big dock box with air vents & nothing around the ice maker. It sits up on a 3 inch tall base that we built for it. We just installed a new water filter for this summer. It ran non stop & smoothly with no issues last year. We are quite pleased with it. I never went without ice in my drinks or ice for our coolers. We always had plenty of ice for our neighbors drinks as well. Great investment if you take good care of it.

It says it is not for outside use due to lack of insulation but this is under a cover counter in a Texas summer and it keeps ice incredibly well. It's also very lightweight for what it is, very easy to unpack and setup. Starts making ice quickly and continues at a rapid pace, dropping several batches an hour in the medium setting which is faster than any fridge ice maker Ive had.
