I purchased this router as a low-cost solution to a persistent connection problem with my electric car charger. My charger operates exclusively on 2.4GHz and doesn't support the latest encryption protocols, which caused stability issues with my Xfinity Wi-Fi router's dual-band setup—it simply couldn't handle it. Adding this router for Wi-Fi, connected via a wired LAN connection, was incredibly easy. I was able to strategically place it closer to the charger, ensuring maximum signal strength where it was needed most. For added security, I configured it to be accessible only via a MAC address whitelist. Overall, this was a fantastic deal and perfectly solved my connectivity problem.
