Worth it to me for the sound and weight savings! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Save weight on your amp and improve your tone *by S***S on July 14, 2019* I'm getting older and lugging gear twice/ gig is not my favorite thing. I had tried a lighter weight amp (Katana 50) and didn't bond with it. I came across a Peavey VK112. After putting in 6L6 biased KT66's and a 5751 V1, it sounded good even with the stock speaker. However, it was heavy. I bought this to save 5 lbs in the amp. I'm glad I did. It may not seem like much but lifting it in and out of the SUV for gigs and rehearsals is worth it. It also has great tone. The amp sounds better even before I added graphic EQ into the effects loop. Now I can dial in the tone for the acoustics of whatever venue we're playing. This transducer is rated at 60 W RMS so my 50W RMS amp has more effective headroom without causing the speaker to break up.
