I have pretty bad tendinitis in my left thumb from grasping my clients’ fingers to keep them still while I worked.These gloves give me enough support that I am able to lift weights heavy enough to make gains that I otherwise could not lift because it would further injure my hands and wrists.I’ve seen some reviews that say they last so long that they get stinky from repeated use long before they wear out. I knew this going in, so I’ve been disinfecting them with UV after each use and making sure they are completely dry before storing them in my bag. Also got a second pair to rotate so I’m not using the same ones each time. Both pairs still smell like brand new leather and I’ve used them many times. This method seems to be working - just a tip from someone who has spent her whole adult life disinfecting stuff that touches hands. I contacted the company as theyurged, but didn't hear back. Part of the issue for me when wearing them, is the padding on the palm is just TOO thick. I can't get my hand around a barbell, dumbell, etc. And it jurts when I try to squeeze them shut. They are unfortunately unuseable. I wish the company would contact me so I could try a different product in thier product line. For now, I'm sticking with my Meister gloves.I ordered these gloves since I have ganglion cysts and this makes my wrists very sore and weak. The wrist support is SUCH a benefit! Also, my old gloves are getting holier and holier with each workout. These look and feel very durable and the wrist protection is phenomenal. I am only able to give it 4 stars though because they feel somewhat inflexible due to the incredible grip lining. I can't actually close my hands fully around the barbell. Additionally, I occasionally like to let the bar rotate in my grip and there is NO moving of the bar with these gloves. That can be a bonus for many people and most situations. I have tried to let them "wear in" but after multiple attempts with multiple exercises, I can't use them any longer.
