While the lure of such knowledge is great, few wizards have ventured into this region as it is overrun by barbaric northern tribesmen who have descended from the hills in their own search for treasure. Marking themselves with demonic sigils, many of these barbarians have aligned with ancient powers discovered amongst the temples. This box set of hard plastic figures allows you to build 20 different Barbarians to play in the game Frostgrave. Figures require assembly with glue. Directions 1. Remove the figures from the sprue. 2. Clean any flash or mold lines from the figures. 3. Tad small for AoS fit tho.. *by S***! on 27 February 2024* So these miniatures are great value for money. You get 20 miniatures in a box for around £20. Lots of heads and weapon options. I’d say compare to GW that’s a real bargain! My only criticism is that the size if you are wanting these miniatures to fit in with miniatures from GW ranges. Unfortunately, the bulk of my miniatures are from GW. And I was wanting them to fit with my fantasy board game. However, as you can see in the pictures I’ve included the scale is unfortunately slightly smaller. They do fit at a push. Although there is no doubt compared to the more realistic human size of the age of Sigmar Steelhelms, they are alas, simply smaller. These barbarians, perhaps could pass off as dwarfs I would say. It’s a bit of a shame actually, because Frostgraves range of miniatures is an excellent cheap way to buff out your fantasy archetypes. Like I said the miniatures themselves are actually really detailed and surprisingly well sculpted. I have no doubt that games workshop have deliberately made the miniatures 32mm to make it an awkward fit for what is a mostly standard size of 28mm of most of the other miniature ranges. Still can’t fault these miniatures! Highly recommended.
