That makes it great for my 3 year old nephew, because he can use it inside without breaking anything, or hurting anyone. An adult can get hit on the head by this ball and not even notice. The paddles are small, about 7" in diameter, which makes it perfect for younger kids with smaller hands, but not so small that an adult can't use it. I think this is great for 3-6 year olds, for use inside. For older kids, or for the beach, I think you'd want a bigger set with a real tennis ball.

This is a smaller version of the usual velcro catch-and-toss game. The ball is a soft beanbag-style ball, not a tennis ball. That makes it great for my 3 year old nephew, because he can use it inside without breaking anything, or hurting anyone. An adult can get hit on the head by this ball and not even notice. The paddles are small, about 7" in diameter, which makes it perfect for younger kids with smaller hands, but not so small that an adult can't use it. I think this is great for 3-6 year olds, for use inside. For older kids, or for the beach, I think you'd want a bigger set with a real tennis ball.

This product is cute and fun. My 4 year old daughter loves it. Easy to strap on her hand. My only disappointment is that the ball is smaller than expected, which makes it a little harder for her to catch. But it sticks very well on the Velcro when caught. The other thing is that when we first took it out of the package, the plastic around the catching mit came off. It was easy to pop back into place though. But if it continues to fall off, I'll have to hot glue it together.
