I also wanted them to be water resistant with good snow traction, and be cute enough that I could wear them to a nice restaurant later if I needed to. These affordable little booties are exactly what I was looking for.They slip on and off in seconds, which lets me change in and out of my ski boots much faster, and the soles have great traction. I don't think they are full waterproof (I wouldn't go around stomping in puddles with them) but they do seem water resistant. It was raining/wet snowing on Sunday when I wore them, and they seemed to withstand the slush without getting my feet wet. And they are SOOOO comfortable! They feel like wearing slippers. They are so convenient and comfy that I've started wearing them for running everyday errands too.They do feel light and inexpensive, and I don't know how well they would hold up if you're planning on using them as daily outdoor winter shoes.
