Review: Not waterproof after washing - When I first bought the cover, it fit great and worked like a charm! I have a cat that was peeing on my chair, so I bought this and it worked beautifully…until I washed it. Now, it’s no longer waterproof. Not sure why or what happened, but the cover being waterproof was the main reason I bought it. Now, I have to keep towels in the chair to cover the cover so it won’t soak through. Very disappointing because I thought this was going to be worth my money. **EDIT** I was able to return the used item for a brand new replacement free of charge! So far, I haven’t had any issues, but I also haven’t washed it yet. I was also offered a full refund, but I’m happy with my replacement. I am very pleased with the customer service I received from this company & will still recommend them in the future.

When I first bought the cover, it fit great and worked like a charm! I have a cat that was peeing on my chair, so I bought this and it worked beautifully…until I washed it. Now, it’s no longer waterproof. Not sure why or what happened, but the cover being waterproof was the main reason I bought it. Now, I have to keep towels in the chair to cover the cover so it won’t soak through. We just invested in two new quality leather recliners last month and have enjoyed them immensely. Unfortunately, so has our Australian Sheppard, when we are away, His claws have already done a number on the leather So we took to Amazon in search of a good cover, We liked these based upon the high reviews and the markdown price on the largest size closed the sale. The covers: Arrived quickly. The packaging is even high quality, a zippered waterproof plastic bag. The installation video is very short and simple. The installation was likewise very short and simple. The fit is adjustable and works well. As you can see, these recliners are large and overstuffed. No problem! The backside of the covers have a soft dimpled surface to prevent sliding. Only thing left to do is see how they hold up to the first wash. But with the quality and attention to detail in these little covers, we're not worried one bit.
