Is there something I have to turn on inside to get all of the phrases?** A: It's suppose to have 40 or more phases. You have to tap or shake it and that's suppose to get it talking. If that doesn't work I woukd return it because up have a defective potato. **Q: Does the potato game talk?** A: Yes! The potato has over 30 phrases -- it will respond with different phrases when you tap it or shake it. I had to keep hitting it and Tossing it for 15 min. until I started hearing different phrases. I kept doing it ,more &more phrases would come. Only downfall is I have 3 boys and they get a little too wild/excited and chuck it at each other. It's super fun and can play anywhere except maybe near grandma's antiques! We did have one injury, big brother chucked it hard at younger brother and he was hit in the mouth. There is a "sound box" hard plastic piece inside the soft outside and it popped him pretty good. As long as no one gets too crazy, it's a great game and fun! Oh and its randomized so you cant "cheat" by memorizing the time limit before it "explodes!"
