This promotes colon contractions and bowel movements" and that it takes about 6-12 hours to work but I guess that depends on each individual and the brand ....I am only reviewing this brand because it is what I used!!! I guess it will vary with other brands. Best to take at night before bed and stay hydrated with water while taking.. Now...let's get to the good stuff! Babyyyyyyy...when I tell you that in about that 12 hour window (the next morning) I had this strong urge to go but not like that rush feeling but definitely (gotta go!)... and when I went "the flood gates opened" ...you talking about RELIEF!!!!!...I felt like a whole new person (hahaha)...I know that it took off some bonus pounds...it had too!!! lol.
