Can it last 10 years using a power timer run for two hour every day? wont be using heater. Tired of them failing after 2 years** A: I won't claim to know if the motor is brushless; however, I do know these are relatively light duty units. I am using them for high school chemistry classes, and generally get about 3 to 4 years out of them, using them probably for about 60 hours per year at the most, though students are not careful with them. **Q: max temperature says 716F. Melts solder?** A: Lol, it takes a while to get < 750ml of wort to boiling. not sure what the 716F is supposed to mean. **Q: Can the stirring speed of the magnetic stirrer hot plate be adjusted?** A: Yes, the stirring speed can be adjusted. There is an adjustment device at the bottom of the lab stirrer. Please refer to the introduction video for adjustment. **Q: Does this come with a temp probe or will a hemp probe work with this?** A: Will hold temp probe will not control hot plate has to be done with temp knob no temp probe buy seprate ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buen equipo a un buen precio *by D***A on 18 November 2024* Si bien es un equipo pequeño, cumple con las funciones y especificaciones, si eres entusiasta o tienes un pequeño laboratorio este es un equipo para ti, a un precio bastante bueno tienes una parrilla con agitación funcional, salvo que necesites temperaturas más altas, porque tiene limitaciones, viene con un brazo de sujeción bastante útil, solo tiene el detalle de no tener una pantalla para visualizar las revoluciones y temperatura así que debes hacerlo con un termómetro y a "mano" el tiempo es relativamente corto tarda unos 8 minutos en calentar 100 mL de agua a 100 grados C ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stirs while I attend to other things in the darkroom. *by H***O on 1 September 2026* Addition for my photographic darkroom, stirring and heats, works like it says... and it does get crazy hot so be careful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super good quality. *by S***L on 9 June 2025* Works perfectly, thank you for the great product.
