Review: These Zesty Paws OraStix are great! My dog likes the way they taste and there is a good amount of treats for the money. They look like green dental stix. Most importantly I find they work really well. They calm my dog down and help with his anxiety. I have a medium sized dog about 45 pounds and one treat lasts a few hours.
Review: Dog will not eat these at all. Ive tried breaking them up, smothering them in her fave wet food but no go. She will take it in her mouth and spit them out. She will eat other dental sticks, so I think maybe the taste or texture is putting her off. Disappointing as I now have a whole bag that I can't use.

**Q: How many actual treats are in the bag?**
A: The bag I received had less. My 12 ounce bag had maybe 12 sticks. Disappointed

**Q: How many sticks sre in each bag?**
A: 12 long sticks. My dog is about the size of a small beagle and I figured the stick would be too much for her so I break them in half to make it 24 sticks

**Q: Do these actually work. I buy other stuff they say works but it really doesn't?**
A: I was skeptical. We have 2 Akita/Shepherd mixed breeds who get very nervous and frantic with thunderstorms. We’ve used 1/2 the recommended amount with them twice now. They both calmed down and went to sleep during the storms. So for our dogs, they definitely work.

**Q: How long before a stressful event should the treat be given?**
A: I would say at least 30 minutes, however for a dog that maybe sort of edgy anyway or that may encounter a range of trigger stacking events. A daily dose of a calming supplement will help far more. I didn’t notice a difference when I used these. I switched to the daily calming bites and have noticed a difference in stress reactions in my dog. Enough so that most of the time she stays under threshold so I can work on training instead of adverse reactions.
