The metal clasp is kind of loud whenever he shakes his body but he doesn’t do that enough times that it has caused it to be an annoyance. If your dog is a shaker, this could definitely get on your nerves rattling all the time. The collar itself does seem to stretch out over time so I’ve had to adjust it a few times since we’ve gotten it. I wouldn’t hook a leash to this collar if your dog is a puller as I’m almost positive either the clasp would break or the collar would loosen up so much that the dog would easily be able to get it off their necks and escape. The good thing about this collar is the bow tie can be taken off the collar and put on other collars so you could easily put it on a sturdier collar if needed.
