Along with massage it is helping realign my feet to anymore natural position.It also helps keep my feet flexed in the 90 degree position (I don't have drop foot but when walking & noticibly when sitting my feet often point like a ballerinas) their movement is limited but I don't feel restricted.I used to suffer from pain on the top of my foot to my shin & calf pain from my body trying to hold my ankle & foot better but failing. This brace has reduced both pains massivly & it has helped conserve my limited energy too. Just when sitting it has made me more comfortable & physically relaxed.I like that the brace is adjustable, so you can play around to find the perfect tension, something not available in other braves. This is especially useful as I have a lanky uneaven body. Personally I always use the loops for the laces, rather than the holes, to make putting them on & off easier.One note is that I suggest trying it in before buying. Due to being slim I was suggested the small size but after wearing it I noticed it was causing a bit of pain on the outside of my foot. I swapped to the medium & it both removed the pain caused by the smaller brace & also supported the length of my foot better.
