If you try this with hydroponics, you can use rinsed pumice in a jar and dilute the microbe powder in water, add that, then your cutting. I learned that the microbes love to camp out in the pumice- it’s like a condo community for them so they stick around and thrive for awhile. Replenishing from time to time (drain water and replace) is probably a good idea, and these products seem economical to do so, at least on a small scale.
