See photo attached. *by R***7 on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2021* I just received this item yesterday, and was putting it through its paces today, when I ran across a software flaw that makes this unit nearly unusable. But before I get to that, I'd like to mention the pros of this, as there are some.Pros:1. Bright, large (compared to others) beautiful color display. This is the best "feature" of this unit. Its quite high contrast (if viewed straight on, not so much if you hold it at an angle). Large numbers, very legible.2. Rechargeable batteries. Three AAA 800 MAh NiMH batteries are included. Also a great feature, all these type of meters should have this. I didn't run it a long time, but the battery indicator didn't drop off "full" the time I used it. Rechargeable by any USB power source, cord is included (but no charger, but this is typical).3. Ability to display in Meters, Feet, Ft + In, or In. only.4. Built-in digital "bubble" level. Very nice to have. Can display in degrees, or percentage (selectable in menu).Cons:1. Fairly minor, but no screen protector is included. Plastic on screen could scratch easily.2. Buttons relatively hard to push. Requires hard press to activate, hard to hold unit still while pressing.3. And the biggest con of all - unit is inconsistent in readings. See my photo attached - all readings seen on the screen were taken from the exact same point, unit was not moved at all. Notice something wrong? Yes, not only does the reading change when you repeat the measurement, but the fraction displayed changed to 2/2 !!! Of course, there is no way this should be shown, as 2/2 = 1 Instead of correctly showing 5' 7", the unit displayed 5' 6" 2/2 !!!Needless to say, this is a software problem, the units were not programmed correctly at the factory, so I guess the QC at SNDWAY isn't quite up to snuff.This unit will be returned, as this is a deal breaker for me.Not only does the reading fluctuate when taken from the same position, it displays incorrect (and impossible) fractions. It's a shame, as I really wanted to like this unit. Maybe the manufacturer will read this and investigate, and respond (but I doubt it). I suppose if you use this unit strictly in the decimal mode (non-fractional) it might be "good enough" for basic use. The fact that the readout changes from one static measurement to the next, in my opinion, makes it nearly useless except for very rough measurements. At this price point, I expected more accuracy, and a fractional readout that works properly.
