I have tried many moisturizing lotions through the years with limited success. Living in Arizona where we have very low humidity, dry skin is a chronic problem. This product is fantastic. With a morning application, it leaves my skin moisturized all day/night. The oil has some thickness to it so it takes a bit more effort/time (perhaps 3-4 minutes) to apply than standard moisturizing creams/lotions. It also takes a few days to realize how much to use. Still, applying Shea Terra Shea Nilotik Oil does not take as long as raw shea butter or other such products. With those products, I found that a diluting agent (for example, essential oils) was necessary to avoid having something so thick that it takes forever to apply. Like most people, I work for a living and want to get ready in a reasonable amount of time every morning. Ultimately, everyone's skin is somewhat different and you have to find the product that works for you (many times through trial-and-error). I can even apply this product to my face without breaking out.
